場所：シャクナゲ公園（丹波篠山市下板井438-2）
※会場には駐車場がございません。「丹波篠山市役所西紀支所」「西紀中学校」「黒豆の館」等の駐車場をご利用下さい。

・洋シャクナゲの植樹（抽選10鉢）
・夜の花道（夜間ライトアップ）
・ステージイベント
・バザー（焼きそば、うどん、焼き菓子、あめ細工、小さなパン屋さん、丹波篠山味鍋、焼き芋スイーツ、クレープ）

旧西紀町の町花「シャクナゲ」

世界の花木のうちで、最も美しい花が咲くグループの一つと言われ、美しく豪華に咲き誇るシャクナゲ。花言葉は「荘厳」「威厳」「尊厳」。もともとは高山の奥地にしか見られない花で、「彼女は『高嶺の花』です。」という「高嶺の花」の言葉の由来にもなっています。地元では、かつては各家庭に１鉢あるほど栽培が盛んだったそう。

シャクナゲ公園では、春のやわらかい空気と、咲き誇る鮮やかなシャクナゲの花を存分に楽しめます。
